Importance of Methodology

The methodology is a system of methods and techniques used in software projects for project implementation.
It includes the steps/processes/guidelines one can follow to implement any software/IT project.
for example – waterfall methodology, where a sequential development process follows through all the phases of a project (analysis, design, development, and testing, for example), with each phase completely wrapping up before the next phase begins.
Agile is not new, and it is a way to manage a project by breaking it up into several phases. It involves constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement at every stage. Once the work begins, teams cycle through a process of planning, executing, and evaluating.
The methodology is the key to a successful research project. It is the foundation upon which the research is built.
