Why do EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) ?

EDA is performed as a first step before doing data engineering or data analysis.
EDA gives perspective to the data under observation. EDA involves using graphics and visualizations to explore and analyze a data set.

Exposes patterns, trends, and relationships of data present in the data set. This information is quite helpful in drawing insights and unearthing important data information.

EDA can involve univariate, bi-variant, and multivariant analysis of data sets to determine individual and behavior with other attributes.

If EDA is ignored, then it can lead to wrong prediction or classification and can further lead to bias for any model.

So practically thinking EDA cannot be ignored, Although it’s a time-consuming activity.
